Jobs in assisted living and nursing homes are in high demand.
The baby boomers are coming of age and entering nursing homes. Therefore there are many jobs available in nursing homes and in assisted living. Nursing home jobs can be founds everywhere. The difference with jobs in assisted living as opposed to nursing home jobs is that in nursing homes the elderly need some medical attention. Jobs in assisted living require you to just assist the elderly not care for them fully. You may be cooking and cleaning and helping them clean up and make sure their medicines have been taken. But jobs in nursing homes may require you to help the person to do everything and they may be in poor health.
